Made from recycled compact discs, the shiny holographic background makes the bird-of-prey image jump off the disk, scaring even the most persistent birds, and keeping them away. Pest birds are genetically programed to respond to the silhouette of raptors. The dark image on the disc and the holographic background, coupled with the slightest movement from the wind makes birds believe that a hawk is about to swoop down on them.
